Texas Country and Americana group proudly announces the release of their latest single, “Hello Dawn,” to Texas radio.  Since its inception in 2005, Lost Immigrants has crafted smartly written songs with intelligent lyrics and infectious melodies, amassing a rich catalog through three full-length studio albums, three short-form EPs, and two critically praised live albums. “Hello Dawn,” the band’s latest recording, is the perfect song to listen to during along drive through a West Texas highway. Recorded in Fort Worth with Americana singer-songwriter Phil Pritchett at the helm, “Hello Dawn” celebrates the freedom of the road, second chances, and the promise of whatever lies just beyond the horizon. “For the past three summers, I’ve been able to spend time on the road with family or traveling to gigs,” said band founder and front man James Dunning. “Early morning drives through the New Mexico desert and the Rockies in southeastern Colorado inspired the overall vibe of the song. I also wrote this during a time I was revisiting that Laurel Canyon sound of The Byrds, Brian Wilson, Jackson Browne, and others of the late 1960s. It’s a great tune to add to your road trip playlist.” “Hello Dawn” is the second single released to radio in 2023. The band released the up tempo track, “Fool Around,” earlier this year.
